	Story Behind the Song I actually wrote this song for my girlfriend, but the general idea of it came before. It thought about a soldier at war, whom struggles with where he is, what he is doing, and what he must remember. It is very metaphorical to our every day lives in which we often are caught up in things of less importance, like work. Lyrics What is the cost? What have I lost? My fingers want more than metal. My ears want more than battle; But is there more, but is there more? Where are the eyes that saw me cry? I can’t remember, I can’t remember. When the quiet comes will my mind hear noise? When I am healed will I regain my poise? Don’t forget the war, don’t forget her lure. I want to be touched again. I want to be touched again. Will she remember the letters?
