Story Behind the Song
Thrown out of myself and back into the '87 visions again.
Lyrics
They pulled him into the conference room,
demanding the woman's address.
He shouted "I don't know any girl...
or about any pictures of lust!"
They didn't believe him though,
and one of them just didn't trust.
He went home with the accused
to sell him some bad drugs.
"Here, try this; it's good stuff." he soothed.
"Nevermind the conference."
"No thanks...I've given them up" came the answer.
The widening difference.
"Is someone here?" asked the visitor.
"Tell you what, I'll just leave them here.
Your so haunted this evening."
Ancestors humming.
And then he left quickly,
after checking all the rooms.
"I can see your ghosts, man...
and they are real!"
And afterwards, he really believed it.
That a girl was in the house.
A savior who told the victim,
that the snow was poison.
So he went to the police to report as much.
Out of vengeance.
Forgot he had drugs on him
and got busted.
Then the police told the first man
that the drugs were arsenic.
Saying that many people were dying.
Ancestors humming.
The victim paced the floor.
He was at the center of his being.
He smashed the Egyptian cones
that sent his enemies fleeing.
The whole world lay at his feet.
So why shouldn't he feel disgust
for this betrayer.
Instead he felt dust.
Ancestors humming.
