This is a small little song that apparently will give me more exposure than any other song I have written to date. This song is the song on those HBO promos for Sunday night. I was flattered and thrilled to be featured on HBO.

    Story Behind the Song
I wrote this song in an effort to describe the sort of bitter-sweet melancholy
I often experience on Sunday. I had broken up with one of the major loves in my life
when I wrote it. I had recently graduated from college and missed my friends quite a bit,
and I was very aware of that unique feeling I had as a kid when I used to play basseball or ride
my bike 'till about sun down. The high pitched voice that sings "Sunday" at the end of the song
is a sound I made in an effort to recapture that bummed little boy who has to go home and do home work.
It's a tender song anyway you look at it. I hope you like it

    Lyrics
Always on Sunday I think about the used-to-be's...
    the "where-am I's"...my fantasies...
Always on Sunday I think about you and I in the woods side by side...
    the autumn air...a hey ride.
Always on Sunday I think about my boys and the noise we would make
in my car...with 7 guys, we didn't get far, but that was still cool cool cool.
It's better to live and toi act like a fool than to fool yourself
into not really living at all.
Always Sunday. Always Sunday. Always Sunday Always Sunday.
Always on Sunday, she's on my eyelashes lingering.
Tears have all dried up, but the sting's still tingling.
Let 'em fall. Tears have to fall.
Always Sunday. Always Sunday. Always Sunday. Always Sunday.
