	Story Behind the Song Plow Monday knew they had a hit with Joke the first time they practiced it at the rehearsal center in Austin. As soon as the song was over, the guy who worked the front desk stuck his head into the practice room and said, "Whoa! Was that a new song of yours?" The band said, yes, and the man replied, "THAT'S a hit!" Everyone from their fans to major on-line music companies have agreed. Theres just something about Joke that gets inside of you and makes you want to shout out the chorus at the top of your lungs! Theres nothing complicated about the song, says Jonathan English. Its just straight up rock and roll. We really turned everything up to 11 to record it, and just let the groove speak for itself.
