A "tone poem". The lyrics contain Myro's wildest spiritual, philosophical wanderings. The music borders on modern classical, ripe with his trademark lush and plentiful chords and flowing time changes (from 3/4 to 2/2 here). Again his unique "sing/speaking" style accentuates the equally unique message behind the lyrics. Requires concentrated listening. Great view into the "moonlight mirror" of Myro's soul. |

Story Behind the Song
The music came first; then the lyrics. Myro refuses to get involved in
discussions or arguments about the precise meaning of his lyrics. He
says one should only take the music literally, not the lyrics. The
lyrics do not necessarily have the same significance when separated from the music. His favorite bumper stickers are "question reality" and "What is this thing called (insert image of a valentine style heart
here)?", which he doesn't remember if he has seen or only imagined.
Lyrics
What kind of trip is this?
Would you rather kill or kiss?
What kind of fool am I?
Why do I wonder why?
Now that we are together,
should we go? Should we stay?
Or just wait for a beautiful day?
Stop and look all around you now.
Laugh or cry if you can.
Yes, if you try your soul,
I know you'll understand.
No one, no gun can wipe that smile from
your soul. No mind fighting the times
can conceive of an ultimate goal.
Watch the world grow around you now
as the old one comes tumbling down.
Yes, if you try your soul,
I know peace can be found.
Someone whose work has just begun
is flying around in our head.
Someday some god will say:
"Finally Man is dead."
(And then we'll all be gods.)
