	Story Behind the Song Honestly I did to want to tell a story about this song because I really hate it when bands use a story as a marketing gimick . But since it really must be told .. here goes.. 1st let start by saying that I am not ,or should I say WAS NOT, a very "supernatural believer" before this song was recorded. In Jan of 2002 we had had a lineup change and fired our guitar player just do to true artistic differences and decided to keep it a 3 peice after all. We changed practice locations from a warehouse in the industrial section of Jacksonville Fl to Our Bass players house about 45 min away from our home . Middleburg is a very spooky place because it is very old and alot of the old things their do not get replaced and washed over like it does in the city.. This place is the kind of place you hear chainsaws , barcking dogs, and drunk redneck mudding in their camaro's @ 3am in the morning.. Most of the BURG is dark with not that many street lights off the main road.. Ok now with that said back to the song.. Two tennants ago at our bass players house .. was a navy guy in his early twenties .. What we have been able to piece together was that he was VERY insecure about himself and his relationship with his then girlfreind . On his birthday he found out that his girl had been cheating on him with the next door neigbor (who still lives their to this day) Supposedly he went into his bedroom and in an instant fit of rage blew his brains out .... Now one night when the band was alone in the apartment ... We set up candels and such to set the mood the be able to relax while we practice .. Kevin (bass/vocals) Decided we should record and we all agreed. We hung 1 area mic in the center of the room and conncted it to his computer . When we began to record we just wanted to Jam something from scratch and let the "vibe" of the room take us over in sort of a meditation excercise of sorts. During this recording we had some very very strange things and feelings that came over us that sound almost to silly to be real so I will not mention them .. but this song was not pre-rehersed , practiced or what not . this is just tape rolling -- jam..
