	Story Behind the Song Lumpspunge is a tribute to a dear friend and musical inspiration of mine, Mr. Michael Van Allen (a.k.a. Lumpy). During college, I would often borrow from (e.g. sponge) his musical rudiments and then spin them in my own direction. The first chord of this song was Michael’s but the rest is all me.
