Story Behind the Song
(2.28.02) The infantry advanced cautiously over the ruins only to find their barbaric enemy outstretched across the red-stained fields before them. The beast-like creatures stood their ground chanting a war song summoning last minute help from their gods. An uneasy calmness spread throughout the army. The tribe then began to pound their weapons against the ground below forming a steady war-like cadence in hopes of intiminating the onlooking soldiers....
Slowly the army formed a line filling the top of the hill. Looking around, they wondered why the battle had not begun. The beasts below continued to stand their ground only barking jestures towards them.
The general looked back at his men and began to realize his temporary safety. High above the ruins mounted on the top of the pillars were the engraved forms of the enemy. scattered about the hill were long rectangular boxes no doubt holding the corpses of the deceased ancestors. He then looked back down the hill and glanced out over the land ahead of him. With the night sky to his face, and the opposing sun beating down on his back, he knew something was terribly wrong.
The sun behind him began to fade away and with that, the enemy started their advancement forward. The assault has arrived.
