At the Soviet time it was impossible to sing sacred music from the stage. But the soviet leaders had nothing against Rachmaninov (may be they knew nothing about his sacred music). Therefor the only way to sing his sacred music was to sing it without words as vocalis. We preserve this song without words for our children' mamory about those times. | MP3.com CD: PRAISE THE LORD - buy it! MP3.com CD: THE BEST OF ANTHOLOGY - buy it!
