	Story Behind the Song The idea for this song is based on the life of Joan of Arc but the idea basically just sat around as one line in a notebook for quite awhile. Then one day while Kirk was recording some music it just all came together. We wrote the lyrics and recorded the vocals in an afternoon. Lyrics Joan of Arc Heart on my sleeve, and yes I really do care that your bleeding. But please don't look to me, don't look to me for answers. I'm no Joan of Arc, God's gonna have to fight this battle without me. This armour I've been wearing, well I think that its really been wearing me, and its looking kind of foolish, and its really just too heavy. And why am I on the horse thats way out in front, holding up this banner by myself? I'm no Joan of Arc, God's gonna have to fight this battle without me. On some kind of misguided hunt to test my mettle. Waiting for the voices to stop and the dust to settle.
