	Story Behind the Song "Closing Time" had already been written, so I wrote "The Party's Over". It's quite simply a song about the widening gap in a relationship. Can't we all just get along? With a couple of abnormal chord changes, Brett would always dread the solo while playing it live. He pointed out that I was singing, "What a bad idea" directly after the guitar solo break. No offense intended! I played the melody solo on this take. This is a demo version. The song will be rerecorded for the forthcoming CD.
