A curious plodding contrabassy instrumental that builds like Bolero, except when it doesn't. Some say it builds like a blind carpenter, but I don't believe that. And the song is not just about giant trees, contrary to poplar beleaf. | MP3.com CD: Leftover Soup - buy it!

Story Behind the Song
The first part of this song was composed about 1983 while diddling on my first synth - a Korg 800. The 2nd part was composed 10 years later while diddling on my Roland synths. I like the sound and power of a bunch of low stringed instruments, so that's what it all seems to be based on. An alternate title may be "Adult Elephant Walk" or "D.Ray's Bolero". I like it because it feels like walking out of some mud up into a nice summit, or something like that.
If you notice a hiss - sorry - I lost the original source which was on some previous computer of mine, so I only have it on cassette tape. I might try to re-do it from scratch someday. I also might try to cook Linzertorte Supreme without a recipe.
