    Story Behind the Song
This song came out of jams and showcases the bands edgier sensibilities. It has a kitchen fire back groove and cutting guitar (not to be held while running) with a keen vocal slithering throughout. It was recorded in a matter of a couple hours with vocals applied in the overdub fashion.. the lyric refers to the imbalance between those with license to kill (whether government appointed or self determined) and those who would be gunned down for being in the "wrong" place at the "wrong" time.

    Lyrics
We, with stolen stones built an empire
    And you've gotta get out
Now our guns are trained upon your hill
May we raise a toast to our trenches
'Til the guns on the fence
Get drunk with the chance of an easy kill
    Gotta look out

I believe there is no way to defend this
Vented rage on an arbitrary line
Names change but the face is familiar
Blown away in the broad daylight

You play the role of friendly herder
    Yeah we gotta look out
We in the pen surrender our free will
When it rains what remains is the murder
    Have your credit cards ready
    There's a sale on forgetting
    It was an easy kill

I believe there is no way to defend this
Vented rage on an arbitrary line
Names change but the face is familiar
Blown away in the broad daylight

I don't need no golden rule
To tell me I'm somebody's fool
I don't need no public school
To make me a better more useful tool
    Would you have me
Spill the blood of my brother
Upon the land of his mother
    It's not my will
    It's not my will
    It was an easy kill

I believe there is no way to defend this
Vented rage on an arbitrary line
Names change but the face is familiar
Blown away in the broad daylight
