Story Behind the Song
In the beginning, St. Evenson pondered the lyrics and concept in film class. On the third day, LMCv3.0 and St. Evenson wrote the Music. On the fourth they recorded it at the Brook. On the fifth day, they played it at a terrible coffee house. On the sixth day, they played it at an Arts Showcase and it was good. Pleased, on the seventh day, Citizens Band had Grilled cheese and Peanut Butter. And it was also good.
Lyrics
I mean Kisses, from my mouth to yours
I mean Airplanes touching down on foreign shores
I'm an ambassador, every time I score
But in a word, dear, in a word I'm yours.
Now we walk the murky streets
and the sun comes up and it all repeats
I get a kiss in the corner form every girl I meets
Now a word to the pleasure, the pleasure I entreats
You're still here
And I don't care
I'm dying as
You breathe my air
To many nights, spent alone with me and you
the only lonlier number than one is two
We go through peopel like tissues or somethin new
Like they always say the only out is through
my declaration is insane, like a hospital train
I find my home at the corner of nicollet annd maine
WE can indulge in the world to rub away the pain
When I'm coughing up life in the pouring rain
You're still here
And I don't care
I'm dying as
You Breathe my air
You're still here
And I don't care
I'm dying as
You Breathe my air
I want a girl I can wear black with
Silently broadcasted cheek bone shadows
Conversations sealed with a Kiss
Enemies fight to displace my ennui
We tip the waiter a bit and then we,
Stare deeply at each other through thick-frames glasses
While Paparazzi and press follow our asses
Fans want to get backstage with phony press passes
I czech the weather in London, Koyto and France,
YOu take a long look at me while I zip up my pants.
This is how I want to spend my days
Globe-trottin' world-rottin' in a purple haze
If I don't move soon I'm gonna crystalize
Forever here
Forever here in the people's eyes...
