Hello everyone, and welcome to the show. Please don't blow, your nose that is. This song is INSTRUMENTAL, although it has special lyrics written just for you! And NO VOCALS!!! Do you know what INSTRUMENTAL means? It is an ancient Spanish word that is derived from the word LOS MENTALES. The first part "IN" means "to go in". The second part "STRUM" means "to strum a surf guitar lick". The third part "MENTAL" doesn't mean crap. You might think it means something because "MENTAL" is a "real" word. But what is "real" in surf music? Surf Music is all original with its own set of words, rules, and attitudes that derive from Surfing and wearing surf clothing. In Surf language, the word "mental" does not exist. |

Story Behind the Song
Once upon a time, in 1962, the mafia moved out to Los Angeles in the hopes of creating casinos. However, to their dismay, nobody wanted casinos, they only wanted to surf. So the mafia moved in on Surf Music and started offering free racing vehicles to Surf Musicians that signed all their royalties over to the Mob. All of the sudden, all these people had racing cars and decided to make their music about their cars instead of their surfboards. This song is about two guys racing a 1962 impala against a 1958 edsel. They crash under the Santa Monica Pier, and when the police come to get them, their is no sign of their bodies or whereabouts. Until 1996, when The Tarantulas appear on the music charts, and the DUAL FLYING KINGS return once again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Lyrics
"hello everybody, we have returned, from the Gold tires...smooth rubber... A blowout that is...1962...steel belted from beaches of the TIME BEFORE SURF TIME, and all the way to THE NEW SURF TIME...A blowout that is...
(chorus) here we come, there we go, not slow, but fast, very fast. Not good, but bad, very bad. Not bad as in "bad", but bad as in Phat, Phat cars, for Phat riders, riders on the wave, riders on the grave, have become the slave of the automobile coutesy of the Mob, no longer the surfboard, but now taken over by the engine of fire!!!!!!----lyrics by L. Ovdog
