	Story Behind the Song I used to work at a recording studio and during breaks I would hear (and see) Mockingbirds sing their many phrases. I consider the Mockingbird to be my favorite bird simply because I could sit down and listen to their songs for hours. One particular afternoon a melody pervaded my brain and I wrote the main parts in about a minute. Four years later I managed to finally finish the song...I get that way sometime.
