Story Behind the Song
A few years ago while driving around New York State with a friend of mine, who plays heavy metal music, we happened to notice that we were on a road called Brimstone Lane, so he asked me to write a song about the devil, he ended up not using the music because it wasn't his style but the song has been very well recieved at live performances by Songbear and Clayaura.
This again was another one session take at Rainbow Production Studios under Charley Groth producing.
Lyrics
I don't need an introduction, I got so many names.
All those things that happen, I just take the blame.
So many religions think they fight me every day.
I can shake any faith with my simple way.
I never wonder if I'm normal.
I only question if I'm sane.
All along I'm living at Brimstone Lane.
I was there when Adam took his first bite of Eve.
I find it easy to own the soul of one who has to believe.
I always get what I want, it seems I don't even have to try.
If you don't believe the truth I can always tell a lie.
I never questioned my Father, but I felt my Mothers pain.
All along I'm living on Brimstone Lane.
I was there when they killed his son in total hypocrisy.
I watched as they build churches that really worshiped me.
You'd think I maybe evil, I'd be without any friends.
Every time you worship him what message do you send?
I don't offer any answers.
I can only show my distain.
All along I'm living on Brimstone Lane.
