	Story Behind the Song The first version of the song was written in 1999 for presentation at the Falcon Ridge Folk Fest of that year. After Songbear and Clayaura became a couple, Songbear rewrote the lyrics to express his love for her, they began performing the song at folk venues. Charley Groth offered to produce several of the songs they do for a demo, this version was the first and only studio take. Lyrics I met her at a strange time when my life was spun around. She was a anchor that held me to the ground. When I talked to her she listened to every word. She helped me open up and sing like a bird. Meet me in the morning by a dirt road by the stream, tell me how your feeling let me dance in your dreams. I close my eyes and see her face before I go to sleep. Over time our feelings have gone hot and deep. When she draws me close like a log to a fire. I could never leave her, my love will never tire. (Chorus) Being with her is easy, it really isn't a chore. I want to give her all I have and still give her some more. Everytime I see her my heart lets out a sigh. Specially when she touches me with desire in her eyes. (Chorus) Everybodies got someone to make them feel whole. She's been the only woman who has gotten into my soul.
