	This one is from a family session I did last year with my daughter Melissa and her mother Patty Carpenter " who wrote Across The Square, also on this site." We all met on the banks of the Delaware with a fabulous group of musicians, culled from New York and Baltimore to record a collection of songs for an upcoming CD. 	Story Behind the Song I wrote this tune about secrets and all the things one might keep under there hat and then as the lyrics evolved it became a sunnier tune I Imagine a little bar at the end of a alley,a quick duck off a sunny street, where a drink may lead to an encounter and a night of intimacy followed by a morning of innocence regardless of who, or where you really are, just a passing day dream.´ Lyrics Un-der my Hat that is where I'll be. Where no-body ever gets to me. hid-den away out of the noon day sun. Isn' t it si-lent and sweet, as I walk down the street and no one knows where I'm at because I'm under here. (knows where I'm at because I'm und er here) Under my Hat that is where I'll be. If you find yourself in search of me. Pull on my coat tails I might let you in.
