	Story Behind the Song As always, Kris was messing around with a new guitar riff and after listening to it, Todd suggested that he speed it up a bit and "Crazy Lost" was born. The two worked out a bridge and chorus within a couple of hours. Words from two separate songs that Todd was working on were integrated and a catchy da, da, da, da, da, da was added to complete the lyrics. Todd and Kris purposely tried to make the song musically complex and jammy. The different overlapping rhythms were even more pronounced once the drums and bass were added. The song's danceability increased even more once the patterns were integrated together. A few weeks before the song was recorded, Dennis suggested that the hook of the song be emphasized a bit more by creating a full band pause each time the song returned and played the hook one time at the beginning of each verse.
