Lyrics
DEEP WATER - The wind blows deep and I'm back running the streets, and I think I've finally found the groove. Finally up to some good, just like I knew I would, and you're down here trying to steal my moves. You push me towards the shore. Jagged rocks lin e my door and outside, my head, it echoes with the thunder. I can barely breath ‘cause you're crowding over me. I feel you're holding my head under. I'm in the middle of a little something sweet, and you got to go just turning up the heat. I'd rather be anywhere but swimming, stuck inside this deep water living. Now down here amongst the rubble, on my skin I can smell the trouble, coming in from my port side. And you are so entrenched, that my head is feeling drenched, as we go deeper into a further dive. I'm in the middle of a little something sweet, and you got to go just turning up the heat. I'd rather be anywhere but swimming, stuck inside this deep water living. Give me just a minute to catch my breath, to dry myself of this wetness that you have som ehow washed off on me. After the craziness broke the calm, I found the stillness in the storm, and I finally drifted out to sea. I'm in the middle of a little something sweet, and you got to go just turning up the heat. I'd rather be anywhere but swimming, stuck inside this deep water living. With all of the pressures from the depths that to me you have given. Wouldn't you rather be anywhere.
