	Story Behind the Song "What I want to tell you about Steven is that he is an A#1 type of person, a great musician, and a great friend. His music is so different from what I normally do, which is why I was so happy to be asked to play on his album. He called me about laying down a track on his album, and I said I was in, definitely. A few weeks later he brought over an ADAT tape of the tune and I took a few passes at it in my room. At the time I don't think I'd even met Fuzz from D.B.B. before... Anyway, I cut the track on my home studio and he was out the door. A few months later, I was invited to sit in on the tune at Steve's CD release party for SOUTH OF STEPHEN at the Iron Horse Music Hall, so I eventually got to play the song with guys on the record... It was a lot of fun, though the recording that I did of the show revealed that the only person who could hear me in the whole theatre was me! And I was supposed to be a special guest on the tune! That's music, I guess..." -r
