    Story Behind the Song
A close friend of mine moved to a large metropolis and ended up temporarily losing her identity and direction in life. This song is about a phone conversation I had with her.

    Lyrics
    Victim Of Her Own Games

    A painful conversation
    Going thru the phone
    The city's hypnotizing lights
    Turned her heart to stone

    A stolen soul in wanderin'
    In an neon paradise
    I watched her sweetness disappear
    To bitter failing vice

    She wants to be accepted
    And make herself a name
    In a world of emptiness
    And solitary fame

    Chorus:
A victim of her own games
In a crowd it's all the same
A pawn in a field so grey
She's a victim of her own games (2x)

The words I spoke with reason
    Didn't touch her soul
I wondered why the priceless girl's
    Stolen heart turned cold

    As the conversation ended
It left my heart to bleed
She gave in to this neon world
With no hope she will succeed

    She wants to be accepted
    And make herself a name
    In a world of emptiness
    And solitary fame

    (Repeat Chorus)
