	Story Behind the Song I learned to play piano in 1973 because the movie The Sting came out and I fell in love with the soundtrack. So I went to the library and checked out the sheet music and taught myself to play the piano from that. I learned dozens of Scott Joplin tunes and later learned how to write rock songs. In college I went to see another movie - Sunset Blvd. - and was inspired to write this song which had a ragtime bent for sure. Years later I revived the music and finshed it out as a traditional ragtime piece. Lyrics this is an instrumental ragtime song
