	Story Behind the Song This is another song that I was playing with for a while. I've got some older versions of this one stashed away somewhere. It's gone through a few transformations, but has ended up being the quiet, lonely song it is now. This song describes the feelings I felt after a long relationship ended. Feelings of despair, loneliness, etc. that occur when you're looking for answers in the wrong places. Lyrics it's four o'clock in the morning and I can't sleep I should have seen all the warnings something about cold feet I can't stop thinking about you and wondering where you are I'm trying to move on but the future just seems so far there she goes on down that open road and it seems I failed a long time ago because now she's gone and I feel so alone I cry out to get rid of this pain nothing seems to help all my cries are in vain just looking for something to bring some hope something that can help me tie a knot in the end of this rope
