    Story Behind the Song
Written based on experience of trying to open up and fall in love for the first time after surviving past heartbreak. It was written at Wendy's home in El Segundo, CA. It was one of those gifts that took several hours to write and a day to record.

    Lyrics
I walked into your love with my eyes open
But, baby, my heart was closed.
I put out the sign when it got broken
    long ago, long ago
I got the letter that you wrote
'N I'm sorry for bein' so remote.
    But oooeee,
what's a poor girl like me gonna do
Could you teach me how to love you
