	Story Behind the Song in a factual sense, i never really wrote this song. i just layed down the first guitar and went from there. i had all the guitars layed out after a few hours, then just shot off some lyrics into the mic. ended up making it on the album. id like to hear this song live, with a full band. i imagine it would rock. Lyrics you're dead to me now but i've forgotten somehow all the things you've done and said but when im crawling out of bed... im over you now but if im feeling down believe it's because of you my love for you is gone you and your friends are all alike mamma take your chromosomes back id rather be a blackboard than a boy all alone and these stars made of chrome... because only time faded eyes can see that the world's no more small to me than when i when i was back at home and just stared up at the sky and simple minds surrounded me and fickle hearts astounded me the beauty of life grounded me but that's dissapeared now
