Story Behind the Song
While DeeJaying at a Los Angeles area African party in 1998, RaggaMan discovered that Ragga and Zairean Rhumba (Soukous) could mix surprisingly well. Spinning a Rhumba Instrumental, he began to freestyle in the mike and, much to his surprise, the crowd really felt it. What he now calls RaggaSoukous was born. This is one of four such fusion songs on the "I and I Survive" album. Malabath Music believes RaggaMan has created something new and original with this fusion.
