Issues brought attention to in the song are as follows: The fear of being left behind (not necessarily through choice), and finding one has become social outcast. The fear that the risks taken, are being done so recklessly. The fear that artificial intelligence may turn out to be malevolent. The fear of deliberate or accidental misuse of nanotechnology. The fear of computer error in, or the biological rejection of augmented components. What we could loose by not advancing our technologies.
