	Story Behind the Song Dave and Lori were comming up with a song for an Easter service and I helped with the chords. I later changed the tune and uped the tempo and it made a great Eurobeat song. Lyrics He sent his words of life in the body of His son They spit on Him and laughed, though He was their chosen one And He cried "Father (please) forgive them" They know not what they've done. The veil of the temple was torn when Jesus breathed His last Because of sin and for our sake He made Himself outcast And they thought at last they'd silenced Him from His words they'd found relief And the Father stood up from the throne And tore His clothes in grief. We still choose to walk in darkness instead of walking in His love He sends His words of life in the body of His son And we sit in the pew on Sunday and vainly speak His word Then we exit from the parking lot And crucify Him in the world.
