Original Destinations first electronic track since "Vague," combining vocals, beats, and ambient violins into one curiously lucid dream. I actually "played" my voice with the keyboard, matching my voice to a 16-piece orchestra. Check it out. |

Story Behind the Song
This song was a combination of ideas. I had the original vocal idea on a deserted train to Philadelphia, followed by the lyrics, which were written from several viewpoints. I wrote it about my own thoughts, my relationships, and my life. The lyrics may be few but the mood is set in stone-this is one of those songs that I wrote despising Valentine's Day and other useless money-making holidays.
All vocals were done by my sister (known as Rowyn) and I. You may also remember our first collaboration on "Sky, Frozen." All of this was based on the beginning of a poem/song I wrote:
"Don't believe in love
Don't believe in tears
Don't believe in faith
After all these years
Don't believe in anything
Thanks to you I see
You did't believe in me..."
