A rock tune with insightful lyrics, and a psychedelic twist. |

Story Behind the Song
This song started with a smokin' guitar riff, and was molded into a song about "Bank Robbers." The song instead of seeming silly, is vastly introspective, relying on poetic lyrics to bridge the gap between action movie and quiet reflection.
Lyrics
I have come to take the money, honey
in your vault you keep
your hands where I can see them.
Don’t you cry or else you’ll die
‘cause this is dynomite
don’t try nothin’ funny.
watch out chile, he’s borderline,
watch out chile he’s borderline.
Time can heal your broken knees
and fallen Caesar eyes
your guts and glory.
Slide those keys oh won’t you please
let me burrow in
your womb of creation.
watch out chile, he’s borderline,
watch out chile he’s borderline.
I have forsaken
lovers and friends
torn and bruised I walk without a shadow.
I ask not forgiveness
for my misdeeds
but for my failure to see
my humanity
within them.
Morning looks much different with your glasses on
a speckled past you wear
oh how you clash with nature.
Pick a path and stay on task and we shall see
where your river runs
it leads to nowhere.
watch out chile, he’s borderline,
watch out chile he’s borderline.
Calloused hands from heavens sands
they hold you tight
in their cosmic grasp
with bursts of fury.
Heroes are often found in pieces
on the footsteps of a dream,
its your life that you gamble…
Remember two things: I let anybody drive my car.
