Story Behind the Song
while reading psalm 23 my mind wandered back to a painting i had seen as a little boy portraying Jesus as the good shepherd. He had a small lamb draped across His shoulders, and i imagined how ti might feel to be that small lamb, one who had wandered off as i hade often done, and whom Jesus had gone after..and carried home.
