	Story Behind the Song Pedestal is about how some people in your life don't really know the "real" you; the "personal" you. Jim wrote this song as he sat in class. He stratched these exact words in less than 10 minutes. With the words in hand that night, he also composed the bass line. Jim presented the song to the band and the guitar riffs were constructed. This was 7july's hardest and most time consuming song to finish. It is the bands most prized accomplishment to date, hence the album name. The song was recorded at Trod Nosell Studios in Wallingford, Connecticut. The main bass, drums, and rythym guitar tracks were recorded in one take. Acoustic and lead guitars were added after.
