	Story Behind the Song I've seen a Wave that was SHINEY & SMOOTH, on the Discover Channel commercial. From that I wrote the song about a WAVE someone received along the lines of a good-bye. It was recorded live in one take with musicians that I put together for a concert I did this year. I wrote and performed the song in whole, in my studio two years ago. It took me about two days to complete. Lyrics I've seen some waves that were shiney and smooth, And I've seen those waves to a mountain they could move. I've seen the waves of a thousand of hands, and the wave of our flag all across the land. But the wave I got that seemed to cut like a knife, was the wave you gave when you walked out of my life. What a cruel wave to ride. Oh god give me shores with the sounds of peace, Let me feel the warm sand caress me to sleep, Let me see the palms wave with my own two eyes, Just let me see those waves to forget her good-bye, Just let me see those waves to forget her good-bye.
