	Story Behind the Song We were 7 or 8 friends, kitesurfers from Alameda beach who went to O'ahu for kitesurfing. We thought November would be good in Hawaii for getting some wind. There was no wind for days and then the Kona winds started blowing, Southsoutheast. So - there was no other way than kiting in Waikiki, The launching spot is where the Hilton Hawaiian Village is. You need other people to help you when you have launched and you are climbing over the rockwall to get to the water. Somebody needs to hold you and somebody else to throw the board after you in the water. ahhh....and then....you kite. Over shallow waters, over corals, don't drop your kite, don't fall....that's gonna hurt. I kited in the shipping line of the ferry boat but the others were in the corals...weird Afterwards you meet in Dukes Canoe Club....a beautiful big bar place at the beach....warm, warm, palmtrees, seebreeze....and have a cool drink
