When Love goes bad at home, you're all alone...might as well go get stoned...Come on Joe, one more for the road...Then I'll give you my keys so you can drive me home!!!
Credits: Gregg Tramel: Lyrics & Vocals... Greg Denmark: Digital Grand Piano&LIVE Drums with Special Session Guest David Sims on an Athentic Real-Pro Toy Chinese Harmonica which was what was the only Harp in tune at the session!!!

    Story Behind the Song
    Recorded at Tramelkarr Productions
Aurora, Oregon July 18th,2000 with some fancy new equipment for HFO MUSIC after a few too many beers...This recalls the era when a guy tells his troubles to his Bartender and pleads for just one more before closing...Written while at work between calls to ER...in respect to the beauty of the human voice combined with the piano and we added a solo instrument and some LIVE DRUMS andkept it a simple
arrangement...We found a Gifted Harp player who added his great interpretation...This is the 1st and only take of this song...After all...You can only get drunk enough to sing and play "A Drunk Song"one time around...Then
If You get lucky and find a great Harp player named David Sims to REALLY light up the Drunk Song Blues!!!Thanks for making the song more BLUES David!!!Well we decided to
try a LIVE drum mix by Greg Denmark and the
song just seems feel even more BLUESY...

    Lyrics
    Well I'm still standin'
    It's hard to believe
    Bartender keeps askin'
    Will you please leave?

    (Chorus)

    So come on Joe
    One more for the road...
Don't send me out that door
    If I go home...
    I'll just be alone ...again...

    (Music Bridge)

    See I'm still waitin'...
    For that phone to ring
    Caught my Baby playin'
    One more little fling...

Ya see a man not a man...
'Till a man takes a stand
Or somtime he just got to leave
    So it's quarter to 2...
    And I'm here with you
There ain't no place I'd rather be...

    So come on Joe...
    One more for the road!!!
Don't ya send me out that door...
