	Story Behind the Song This is a song of escape. The lyrical seed was based on Jason's exodus from Florida to California and the tribulations he encountered on the journey, including a near death trip through a freak snow storm in a mean New Mexican mountain pass. The parallels are drawn to anyone who actually acts on the desire to leave a stalemate at any risk. The guitar riff just sounds like a desert. The violin came courtesy of a holiday visit from Katharine Blake (Medæval Bæbes / MSG). The trip hopping percussion provides a nice contrast to the sorrowful voices to make this unique track a real dynamic crowd pleaser as well.
