Story Behind the Song
This is a song that I wrote in the shower.....I had the whole thing in my head, and as soon as I got out, I figured it out on piano and recorded a demo....I think this one just sort of came to me all at once....The lyrics were just a bit of fun on this one.....When we recorded it, our intention was to include it as a 'hidden track' , because band had never even played it before.....It turned out so well though that we decided to close the CD with it......There was a music store just beyond the backyard of the studio, so we just sort of ran over there and picked up the kazoos for a bit of a laugh...
Lyrics
Every single time that I catch a glimpse of you
I'm nervous and I don't know what to do
Get that funny feeling...Do you get it too?
That feeling that I get every time i catch a glimpse of you
Every single time that you catch my eye
As you're walking, talking, passing me right by
As you move along, I start to sigh...
Yes every single time you pass me by
Maybe some way, maybe some day
I will hear you say that you will be
The only one for me
(solos)
Maybe some way, maybe some day
I will hear you say that you will be
The only one, the only one for me
Every single time that I catch a glimpse of you
I'm nervous and I don't know what to do
Get that funny feeling...Do you get it too?
That feeling that i get every time I catch a glimpse of yo
