Story Behind the Song
The Flood consisted of: Markus Hof, Erich Singula and Florian Eckert and seperated officially in 1999. This was the last song we wrote together, actually we were only jamming around. As we found this song we started developing the three melodies for voices. As we were still improvising we just sang some nonsense all the way through, only in the refrain we somehow agreed while improvising to sing Doub doudoub douhh dab, or something like that. That is the reason why we called it as a working title The DouBeeDou Song.
When I produced the song a year after that session I had to write some lyrics, but I liked our Doubeedou refrain so much that I kept it. Like that it was logic also to keep the working title as song title. Therefore this song is one of three out of 12 on my CD "One word is enough" of which the title consists of more than one word
Lyrics
There are three different voices with different lyrics simultaniously. If ever i have enough time to enter all that, I will, but not now!
