Here's a song where I played all the instruments. I'm not the greatest musician, but I think it turned out relatively well. |

Story Behind the Song
Someone once asked me if I liked something and I said that I didn't "superlove it." I guess I was just saying that I didn't especially like it, but it was OK. I don't remember what we were talking about, but needless to say, my use of the term "superlove" got a few laughs. I decided to immortalize the word in this song. To avoid any confusion, this isn't a love song. I built the song around the bassline, and spent a lot of time playing with it until I got it to what you hear. I played all the instruments myself. Every single one. I apologize for that cacophony in the middle which is probably the worst guitar solo ever recorded. I'm not a lead guitar type player. At least not yet, I'm still learning. I just want it to be clear that no, I don't think that this song is outstanding musically. The lyrics were put together very quickly, and I agree that the structure is sort of lame and amateurish, but in the future, you can probably expect an improvement. I just hope you can at least appreciate all the effort I put into this song, despite its shortcomings.
Lyrics
Working hard all night and day
Stuff to do, no time to play
Gotta do what I want very quick-lay
Never time for fun
It's no lie, life goes so fast
They all say "gotta make it last"
No way to get back to the past
Always on the run
I just want some time to myself
It's not good for my mental health
I want to spend all my time
Doing something I know I'm
Gonna superlove
Superlove
Superlove
Superlove
I just want some time to myself
It's not good for my mental health
I want to spend all my time
Doing something I know I'm
Gonna superlove
Superlove
Superlove
Superlove
