Opus 1. Released on "the Second Usenet
Tape" (Gregory Taylor, ed.) in 1983, which I suppose makes its one of the earliest pieces of "internet music". The bandwitdth wasn't there for streaming or downloading, but an active group of composers US Mailed a lot of tapes around to thier Usenet correspondants.
Thanks to the awfully happy, and probably insane man I followed for three blocks with
what passed for a portable recorder in those days - long before minidiscs. |

Story Behind the Song
When Greg released it on the Usenet compilation, he said "Reid walks the
mean urban streets as the theme from the new hit boxing sitcim wafts from an open window".
