    Story Behind the Song
Just like everyone else in America, the Sept. 11th attacks affected me personally. Being an American, we all felt personally attacked by the events that occurred on that day. One day while thinking of the aftermath of the event, I could hear the hook pounding in my head "you didn't die for nothing- we gon' make sure- you didn't die for nothing..." and it was easy to write this song not only in memory of those who died, but also to warn that retaliation from America was definitely not something another country would want to envoke upon themeselves.

    VERSE I (Ridiculous Beats)

You didn't die for nothin' but nothin' can save ya
Except the hand of Jesus Lord I was told he's my savior
Behavior getting worse every day in every way
But it's OK as long as I pray know he'll take me away
Here I go- death is unexpected better call the paramedics
But you know no anesthetics will revive me where my soul is headin' I've been dreadin' my last days but he's takin' me away
Heaven is where I'll be headin' and in hell is where you'll stay

    You didn't die for nothin'
    We gon' make sure- (repeated)

    VERSE II (Ridiculous Beats)

    Hijackin' attackin' innocent victims
    Where does it all end
How many buildings must be fallin'
How many people must we be callin'
Sayin' our babies gone away cuz we can't all get along and
Must we resort to nuclear warfare once again
Hiroshima, Nagasaki now say it again
What will it take to put this violence all to an end
What will it take for everybody to live as friends
Hand in hand I think he's cryin' from above
Because it's just so easy but we can't have just one love
These holy wars go back but we can't learn from the past
You're stuck in one mindset you can go on and kiss my ass
    You didn't die for nothing
    We gon' make sure -(repeated)

    VERSE III (Ridiculous Beats)

The army, the navy, the airforce and marines
Are comin' to get ya- realize your worst dreams
Say you want a jihad, holy war ain't what it seems
Because God Blessed America- listen to your people scream
As the death toll surmounts, bloody bodies keep comin' out
I can't figure out, what this fighting is all about
I look to the day, when we all can be as one
No anger no hate, and we all have a little fun

    You didn't die for nothing-
    We gon' make sure (repeated)
