    Old School Rock Song about temptations and potential indescretions.
    Label: PrattMusic

    Story Behind the Song
    Wrote this one when I was playing in a band - sometimes a long way from home. Being away from the one you love can get kind of lonely... and if there's a pretty girl who makes it clear you have her attention, then the temptation to indiscretion is always there. Never under-estimate temptations. They hit us harder than we are likely to admit BUT can hurt so bad if we let them win.
    (No Mum, it's not autobiographical!)

    Lyrics
    Woman Come On (Please Don’t Lead me On)
    © Adrian J Pratt – December 1981

    Some people always trying to lead you on,
    Everything they do is a big Come On,
    They look you up and down as you walk into the room,
    Bewitch you with their eyes, make your hear go Boom-Boom,
    They say they love you but then they break your heart,
    They get you in their grip and before you know where you are,
    They strangle your emotions with seductive little lies,
    And suddenly you find you can t get them out of your life,
    I don t need it, I don t need it, I don t need it.. no, no, no, no;

    Chorus: Woman, Come On, Please don t lead me on
    Its a long lonely night and I don t want to spend it all alone,
    Woman, Come On, Please don t lead me on
    Its a long lonely night and I don t want to spend it all alone.

    Saw her standing there, long flowing hair
    Everything about her looked, allright, allright,
    Won t leave me alone, Wants to take my home,
    Says she ll make me feel, allright, allright,
    But woman I don’t want your love
    So don t lay your love on me,
    Then again it’s late… so maybe…
    Maybe yes, maybe no, I don’t know, no, no, no, no;

    Repeat Chorus

    She looked at me, I looked at her,
    She said to me, - Allright, allright,
    Don t be so alone, Why don t you take me home?
    Says she ll make me feel, allright, all night,
    But woman I don’t want your love
    So don t lay your love on me,
    Then again it’s late… so maybe…
    Maybe yes, maybe no, I don’t know, no, no, no, no;

    Some people try and fool around with love,
    Take it like it was some kind of drug,
    Take it like a pill and wait for it to turn them on,
    But then they wake up and find out love has gone,
    Woman, if that s the love you are offering me,
    That is the kind of love that I don t need
    Woman, woman, woman, it’s time you went home,
    Woman, woman, woman, leave me alone
    I don t need it, I don t need it, I don t need it.. no, no, no, no;

    Repeat Chorus
