	Lyrics Melmo (The Monster Under My Bed) I see shadows moving on my walls I look to the nightlight; I see it’s claw Oh no! Not this again That stupid Melmo thinks that I’m his friend He creeps on over, and whispers in my ear “I know you’re awake…I can sense your fear!” I open one eye…look to my clock I look at Melmo…and tell him to F*CK OFF! “Melmo, can’t you see it’s 4am?” “I don’t need another sleepless night again!” Melmo looked at me with a tear in his eye and said “If you don’t come with me, I’ll be alone all night!” “Melmo,” I said, “I’m just too tired!” “And if I’m late for work again I’m sure that I’ll get fired!” Melmo put his claw upon my face And told me that he’d eat me if I don’t come out to play! Melmo is the monster that lives under my bed Melmo has big wicked claws, his eyes are red Melmo wakes me up at night to come out and play But I just wish that Melmo would just GO AWAY! So I flipped up my sheets and put on my socks I told him “Ok, but let’s be back by 6 O’Clock!” Melmo jumped up and down and snarled with glee Fell to the floor, slid under the bed, dragging me So there we were in NightmareLand, walking hand in hand He showed me this, he showed me that MELMO ARE WE DONE YET!?! Melmo, I wanna go home to bed Melmo, I’m sorry but you smell really bad Melmo, I gotta get up for work Melmo, Come on, Take me home DON’T BE A JERK!!! Melmo is the monster that lives under my bed Melmo has big wicked claws, his eyes are red Melmo wakes me up at night to come out and play But I just wish that Melmo would just GO AWAY!
