I'm very proud of this song. It originated from a dream ( how cliche is that ) and I worked on it for a long time. It's this fast 1920-30 mafia club-jazz groove. Check out the whammy bar solo. |

Story Behind the Song
It's 1935. A man, in a striped suit, walks up to a woman in a upper class bar owned by a mafioso. The woman is drinking a dry martini while smoking a cigarette. The man gathers his courage and speaks: "Shall we dance?". The drummer sets the beat and soon the other bandmembers follow. The man and the woman stare each other. When the groove kicks in they begin their dance. Towards the end of the piece, it's getting more and more intense, maniacal, even. When it's over, everybody's exhausted, the audience, the band, and especially the 2 dancers.
