	Story Behind the Song I had never written a jazz tune in my life before I came up with this, so I had to dedicate it to my stepfather, Cole Broderick, the "jazz prince of Saratoga Springs" (NY). Snake Hill is an actual place on Saratoga Lake, NY, just across the lake from Cole's house. I don't know if skinks actually live on Snake Hill, but the name fits Cole's personality regardless.
