Dedicated to the heroes, villains, victims, and survivors of 9-11. A sort of musical American flag, a celebration of the awe-inspiring courage of ordinary people, and a patriotic peace offering for a new world that no one in his or her right mind would have chosen to live in but, well, here we all are. |

Lyrics
Feeling Red White And Blue
Red's for the firefighters buried by the blaze,
Red the Cross and red the blood we gave.
White and blue the workers' collars, trapped in mangled graves,
Truest blue the brave police who perished trying to save.
These colors are the way I feel right now. How 'bout you?
Are you Feeling Red White And Blue?
I'm still Feeling Red White And Blue.
Red is for the hatred and the madness it incites,
Vengeance that can never make things right.
White the halls of justice, calm and mercy, healing light.
Blue is for the sky we watch forever, day and night.
These colors are the way I feel right now. How bout you?
Are you Feeling Red White And Blue?
I' m still Feeling Red White And Blue.
Grey is for the ashes some return to all too s o on.
Green is for the greedy, plotting now in secret rooms.
Yellow vigilantes - how low will they descend?
This crazy quilt of violence blinds us all in the end.
Red s for our anger at the shameful way they killed
not armed soldiers but just folks who se backs were turned.
White is for our vision as we build from what s been burned.
Blue s our metal, tempered, forged in fire, stronger than steel.
These colors are the way I ll always feel. How bout you?
Are you Feeling Red White And Blue?
I m still Feel ing Red White And Blue.
