    Story Behind the Song
I wrote this song when my girfriend broke up with me. I was hurting badly. It was written by me in my class at school. It didnt take too long to write it, about 2 hours total. it took more like 7 hours to record it.

    Lyrics
    Lyrics
The bitter tears upon my cheek
Burn my eyes as they leak
This life id thought id figured out
It all ends up throwing me about

I can't help but think of what will be
Of how ill cope, of what ill see
The realms of pain I now know well
I cast my thoughts and love down to hell

I have to move on, I have to forget
But the way it felt ill never regret
I tried my hardest to leave my past
But some way somehow I knew it wouldn't last

I knew that it couldn't be forever
But I wouldn't believe that we would sever
Now it feels odd to think about you
But the memory's stained and I feel I'm through

    -Pre-Chorus
Now you're gone and I'm in pain
I gave my love in vain
It's been so long since I
    Could stand up for myself
    -Chorus
    And I feel pain
And I feel pain like I've never felt before
    And I feel weak
Yes I feel a weakness in my heart

You made me think that I mattered when I meant shit
Now I know your thoughts I want to quit
I want to give up on life I don't want to live
It hurts to talk to you, you led me on with

Words that made me feel like you actually cared
But in actuality you were just scared
You warned me by never saying you loved me
But all the people I talked to said you did, proving

And now that I know that I'm all a joke
There is even more fun for them to poke
To play with my emotions, to piss me off
To make me feel like life I should cough

I should give it back to the one who gave it me
To just sit back and set my injured soul free
Nobody could love me as more than a friend
Now I see my life as nothing to defend

    -Pre-Chorus
Now you're gone and I'm in pain
I gave my love in vain
It's been so long since I
    Could stand up for myself
    -Chorus
    And I feel pain
And I feel pain like I've never felt before
    And I feel weak
Yes I feel a weakness in my heart

    -Pre-Chorus
Now you're gone and I'm in pain
I gave my love in vain
It's been so long since I
    Could stand up for myself
    -Chorus
    And I feel pain
And I feel pain like I've never felt before
    And I feel weak
Yes I feel a weakness in my heart

The bitter tears upon my cheek
Burn my eyes as they leak
This life id thought id figured out
It all ends up throwing me about
