	Story Behind the Song Meter Man was written in 1994 or 1995. It was conceived from observations and reflections of the time. The Internet was emerging as a place for kooky cults and other strange phenomena to create a hype. Living in the city was getting harder and stranger. The audio version was recored for the artist's collective Labour of Love. King Kong Girio edited the track as I through out ideas for the soundscape. Lyrics There was a time when our love was endless but now me and you must revolve around the sun. I'm just here to read the meter. Don't get up. I'll just go right on through. Well me I've been up all night just driven driven around out to Parkdale back downtown. Pickin' up hookers strappin'em in to the baby seat. Well me I'm just glad to have a job. There's a lot of good people on U.I.C. There's a lot of good people on social assistance. There's a lot of good people trapped in limousines. Down at the university they're working on the big problems. Neil Postman is working on problems. Noam Chomsky is working on problems. Yuri Kuchinsky is tapping in to the Gnosis.
